At 10:16 am on May 1st, at the construction site of the machine repair workshop in the steelmaking area of Xingtai Steel’s Transformation, Upgrading, Relocation and Reconstruction Project, firecrackers were set off and applause rang out. The ready crane slowly lifted the first steel structure successfully. This marks the full-scale start of the steel structure construction of Xingtai Iron and Steel’s Transformation, Upgrading, Relocation and Reconstruction Project, and represents a solid step forward towards the goal of the project’s completion and commissioning on schedule.
It is reported that the first steel structure lifting is a crucial milestone in the relocation and upgrading project of Xingtai Iron and Steel. To ensure the smooth hoisting of the first steel column, the project management team fully implemented the work requirements proposed by Zhang Yuming, the Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the company, which is to "build the new Xingtai Iron and Steel into an international first-class benchmark enterprise for special steel long products." Adhering to the principle of "planning first," they collaboratively developed a detailed construction plan with the construction unit. Prior to the lifting, the construction unit's management personnel conducted thorough safety and technical briefings and training for the construction teams, ensuring strict adherence to standardized and規(guī)范化 procedures during the construction process.
During the entire hoisting process, Peng Shidan, General Manager of Xingtai Iron and Steel, along with Vice Presidents Ma Baoliang, Liu Wanchao, and Han Qinglian, as well as the project leader from MCC5 (China Fifth Metallurgical Construction Group), personally supervised the work on-site. The project construction team strictly adhered to the plan, reinforced control measures, and overcame various adverse construction conditions. The commanders and operators worked in close coordination, while management personnel maintained full oversight throughout, ensuring the successful completion of the lifting task.
